The other night Attalie asked me if I wanted to get a new baby. I said, "Oh, do you think we should have another baby in our family?" After she responded in the affirmative I continued, "So then our family would be Mommy, Daddy, Attalie, Piper and a new baby. That would be five."
To which Attalie responded, "No. I want to take Piper back and get a NEW baby."
I was surprised by her suggestion, so I repeated it to her, "Take her back?"
And again Attalie said, "Yeah, take her back to the Doctor and get a new baby."
Trying not to laugh, I told Attalie, "We can't take Piper back; she's part of our family. What if we took you back to the Doctor?"
Attalie quickly replied, "You can't take me back to the Doctor; I would be sad."
